"Above & beyond"

I visited as I had an absess on my ear which my GP had prescribed antibiotics for. It had after a few days become painful and swollen, so I visited the minor injuries unit for advice. The staff on duty were polite and helpful, as well as having a caring demeanour. The nurse offered to cut my absess and it is since healing well. I just wanted to post this review as I felt in this case I was quite likely to be referred back to my GP, or told it would go down on its own. I was delighted to have it dealt with there and then as it was really causing me concern, and wanted to pass on my thanks to the staff there.
