"A place of safety"

About: Kingston Hospital

My mother who is 91, was ill on Wednesday. NHS 111 referred us to an out of hours GP who then passed us to A&E. My mother was admitted for 3 days and is home with medication. I would like to complement the Hospital on the professionalism and good humour of their staff at every level. It is never a joy to be ill but the people in Kingston got close. My mother was given immediate treatment and then given a series of tests. We were there for some time as she was clearly not critical but everything that could be done by the A&E staff, was done. We were kept well informed at every stage and the degree of kindness and patience displayed was beyond compliment. Many thanks David

Many thanks for your supportive comments with regard to our A&E department and the NHS. We really do value your feedback so we will be sharing your comments with the A&E team.
