"Absolutely brilliant!"

About: Leicester General Hospital

I attended this department on Friday 20 February 1015 for a diagnostic cortisone injection in my hip. I arrived 15 minutes early and was welcomed by a charming and pleasant nurse. Within 2 minutes one of the x-ray team came out and showed me where to change. I was then shown in to the treatment area where the consultant radiographer explained exactly washe was going to do. The three staff were all efficiant and concerned with my comfort. When the needle was inserted deep into the joint the nurse was aware of my discomfort and was very kind and reassuring. I was then shown to the waiting area and offered a choice of hot drinks and allowed me to recover in my own time. I left the hospital approximately10 minutes after my appointment tine. Tbanks to all concerned.
