I visited the Boothroyd Centre yesterday to have my gallbladder removed. The operation went well & I was home by 6.30 last night. I couldn't find a single thing to complain about during my stay. The centre was clean & very quiet even though it was busy. Everything was explained to me in detail & I had numerous occasions to ask any questions I had. I really felt at ease. I am very pleased with the care I received by all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for the nurses, especially one who really did go above and beyond to make sure that me and the lady in the next bed were well looked after. She also kept us supplied with plenty of tea and toast. It's a shame more nurses aren't like her as she made my short stay in the centre really pleasant. So pleasant that I almost forgot i'd just had major surgery! I would definitely recommend the Boothroyd Centre to anyone who has the opportunity to receive treatment there.
