"Terrible experience!"

I chose Spire Hartswood as a Private patient for an eye condition that I was experiencing, the ophthalmologist I saw was over an hour late for our appointment as he was stuck in traffic, he did not listen to me and sent me away after a 5 minute consultation as he was running behind with treatment that did not work. I brought my follow up appointment forward and when I arrived I was again waiting almost an hour before I decided to give up. I informed the receptionist and then his assistant that I wanted to rebook with another ophthalmologist and was met with utter rudeness, I'm still in shock a week later! I wouldn't expect this from the NHS much less as a paying, private patient. I will be taking my complaint further.
