"I cannot speak highly enough of the staff on the stroke ward"

My dad was a patient on this ward and I can not speak highly enough of the staff. They treated my dad with care, compassion and dignity. He was kept spotlessly clean and it was evident his every need was being attended to.

All staff were friendly, but worthy of particular note were Katy, and Jennie and Manual.

In this day and age, where you hear horror stories about hospitals almost every day, it was refreshing to find that this ward was full of decent, caring professionals doing a good job. Sadly, my dad died, but even in that he was treated with care and dignity.Although the week in hospital was a traumatic and sad time for us, the staff on B14 did everything they could to ease the experience for us.
