"Pancreatitis Acute"

About: Lister Hospital

From 12 to 16 February 2015 Admitted to A and E with acute abdominal pain. From the start staff at all levels were excellent. All test were carried out efficiently and information given when asked for.. Sleeping was made more difficult due to the following 1. A metal lid on a metal waste bin kept banging down during the night., it was about 5 feet from my head. Why not use one of the slow closing non metal bins? 2. Very bright glaring old fashioned strip lighting above our heads kept on late. Use modern lighting, easier to control. 3. The machines for testing blood pressure etc were stored just the other side of the curtain from my head, again noise when they were removed and returned.

Thanks for the feedback - the team will find it very helpful, especially the comments about the bin, etc. They'll no doubt want to look in to these three items, but in the meantime, we hope that you're feeling better now.
