I was referred on Tuesday 16th to AEU by my GP. I had in Sept 2013 had a radical nephrectomy (also excellent treatment and cannot fault it. As I am writing this it must have been first class treatment because off the quality offered by your teams especially the consultant and all. The reason for the above is to let you know that for the last 3 months I have unsuccessfully tried to fight a bad chest infection. Nothing was working a the GP's(not their fault) Anyway sent by GP on 16/2/15 as I was badly disorintated and the team were excellent. I can't remember their names as I was a bit disorientated. The team were,in my opinion,First Class. A wonderful lady doctor looked after me (I am so sorry i didn't get her name). All staff were excellent even though it was obvious they were all under pressure nothing was too much trouble. I arrive at 12.30 and left at approx 9pm but all tests were carried out and the Consultant and lady doctor were great as all staff. I was delighted with them and Colchester need some good publicity. In fact all the people waiting were singing the staffs praises. Before I left the lady doctor made sure I was ok and an appoinment is being made for the respitory team at a later date. I and my Wife who came with me were treated very well and cannot express my thanks enough. Regards and thank you all. Regards Steve Huckle I am also being looked after by the consultant and his team in Oncology and cannot be happier with my treatment and feel very happy having a first class team looking after me. Urology. The consultant and all the team are why I am hear and cannot express my gratitude. Thanks Colchester sorry for the length of the review.
