"The care I have received"

About: Lightburn Hospital

(as the patient),

After being refered to Lightburn Hospital the care I have received has been

exceptional. The care and helpfullness offered by them has made the last four years manageable. As well as monitoring my symptoms and prescribing medication. The Parkinson's nurse J. Kerr organises East Glasgow Support Group who meet monthly where we have the opportunity to meet others with the condition and hear of any progress in the care for people affected by Parkinson's.

I work in a small team in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde which seeks to involve patients and carers in the work of the NHS. The biggest part of my role is in managing feedback projects across the Board area, one of which is Patient Opinion. It is my job to give our patients and carers the opportunity to give us feedback, and to make sure that this is passed to the right people to help us improve the services we provide.

Dear mollyann,

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide your kind feedback on your care at Lightburn Hospital. I will pass on your comments to the team at the hospital, who I know will be really pleased to receive your feedback. I'm sure that your comments will also be greatly appreciated by Nurse Kerr, who clearly goes above and beyond to ensure that your care is supplemented by such valuable extra support.

Thank you again,

Lorna
