my daughter was referrd to leighton for abdominal paini t was an hours wait to get bookedin and 55 mins for as promised piece of toast mis communication not a problem the surgical dr was bleeped 5 times tied up in casulty.no back up. its not the staff that failed my daughter but the system if the dr on call is tied up there shoud be another health care professinal to pick up theslack

I was extremely sorry to read about your recent experiences with your daughter whilst on the child and adolescent unit. The staff on the unit make every attempt to review the children as soon as possible and provide compassionate and effective care. I am sorry that you do not feel this was what you experienced. I would be more than happy to discuss this with you to understand what we can do to improve care in the future.
