Being symptom free for over a month and feeling fine, it was with confidence that I went for a routine urology scan. To my surprise I was asked to stay in overnight - I'm not sure why. I left the next day with a catheter, pain, bloody urine and two medications supplied. without explanation, for symptoms that I did not have! One of the supplied medications appears to conflict severely with one of my regular medications: Tamsulosin .v, Doxazosin. Sadly, I did upset one elderly and unsmiling nurse but otherwise I found the staff in Iris Ward were magnificent, being efficient, caring and seemingly happy in their work. One highlight was a very brisk nurse who glided round the ward like a ballerina!
