"Cataract surgery"

I was extremely impressed by the efficient, friendly way in which I was treated, from the time of my arrival in the day ward to the time I left less than two hours later, having had a short post-op recovery time with a welcome cup of tea and a biscuit. The nurses in the day ward were very good at explaining everything, as was the consultant herself, who came to discuss the surgery beforehand. After an op that took only 20 minutes, I now have perfect distance vision in one eye, for the first time since the age of seven (very short-sighted). Feel very grateful for such expertise and so pleased that we have our marvellous NHS.
