I am eternally grateful to all the staff at Addenbrooke's for the care and treatment they gave my partner John after he suffered a brain haemorrhage. To say it was amazing is an under-statement. A special thanks to the staff on wards A3, A4 and A5 You were so caring and always found the time to help and support both John and his visitors. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the service was always delivered with a smile. We were kept informed every step of the way, enquiries and requests were dealt with swiftly and efficiently, despite the pressure faced by the hospital by the demands for services. The nursing staff are a cut above any others I have encountered at other hospitals.. The surgeons did an outstanding job and thanks to them he is on the road to making a full recovery. The orderlies, porters and caterers were so helpful and kind. What never ceased to amaze me was how every day I visited I saw staff asking people in corridors if they were lost or needed help. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. I would also like to say thanks to A&E for treating my mum with the same dignity, respect and care when she broke her foot recently. I could not have asked for more. My family are indebted to you all for the wonderful care you gave us all. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
