"Weekend emergency"

About: Calderdale Royal Hospital

On 17 Jan we called an ambulance for my husband who was in agony caused by a kidney stone blocking his urinary tract .They arrived within about 10 minutes, took him to A & E where he was seen almost immediately and within 20 minutes had received pain relief and the staff had the necessary scans and tests organized. That same night he was transferred to Huddersfield and admitted where he was treated further. We cannot say enough about the staff who helped us. everyone we came into contact with was fantastic, both here in Halifax and in Huddersfield. Our sincere thanks to you all Your hard work and kindness are much appreciated . We cannot credit that anyone could even contemplate closing this facility.

Thank you so much for such positive feedback, the staff involved will, we are sure, be delighted to know that they were so appreciated. We are sorry to hear that your husband suffered such a painful condition and hope he is now fully recovered from his ordeal! Many thanks for taking the time to post your comments.
