"Poor oupatient support"

About: St George's Hospital (Tooting) (London)

I received a letter from endoscopy asking me to contact them within 14 days to book a procedure and that is what I did! When i called them I was told that they were short of staff and she was not able to provide me with the appointment;i was asked to leave a tel number so that someone would have contacted in the next few days. What a shamble this is . You also ask below but the endoscopy department is not listed!

So sorry to read of your experience in trying to get an appointment with endoscopy. If you are still without an appointment and would like to have help with the communication, please contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS). The service can help you get in touch with the appropriate staff members to enable feed back and identify an appointment date.
