"Pain Management a pleasure not a pain !"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus

I have been under the pain management team at City Campus for several years now and can offer only praise for the whole team. Yes you sometimes have a delay in outpatient clinics but I don't mind that as when its your turn you are given all the time you need to ask questions or seek advice. The Facet joint injections I have received have always been done with care and consideration and the next appointment almost comes through exactly on the date I would be phoning to say "its wearing off".You are never treated like a number but a person and one in pain at all times - little things like being offered help to get on and off treatment tables, etc is so brilliant. I would , and do recommend this department to anyone I know who has long lasting pain issues.

Thanks for sharing such a wonderful experience. You’re absolutely right, it’s the ‘little things’ that are very often most important and make the biggest difference to the overall experience of our patients. We will share your comments with the Pain Management team. They will no doubt be pleased to hear how happy you are with your care.
