"Treatment for chest pains was second to none at the Hallamshire"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital

(as the patient),

My wife took me to the Hallamshire hospital Sheffield with chest pains; we went to the walk in centre. Immediately when I said I had chest pains I was taken to emergency admissions. 5 members of staff were waiting for me. I had ECG, blood test, and had my blood pressure taken within 5 minutes of arrival.

My blood results had a small abnormality so they took me for a CT scan just as a precaution incase I had a blood clot. At the end of the day they are sure it is some muscle problem but the treatment I received was second to none .The care I received couldn’t have been any better if I had gone private.

My only gripe was the car park charges my wife had to go home and come back so the charge for the day came to £11.50 which in my opinion was ridiculous
