About: Kettering General Hospital

My elderly grandma received brilliant care on the 1/2/15 by medical staff in a&e, and brilliant nursing and medical care on MAU, discharge lounge and ambulatory care. A long wait in a&e awaiting a medical bed was unfortunate. It was disappointing that there wasn't a back-up plan for elderly people during long waits to keep them comfortable and warm.

Thank you for your positive feedback regarding your grandma’s care at Kettering General Hospital. I apologise if your wait was long in A&E. Unfortunately there are times when a long wait is unavoidable. The A&E department do try to offer blankets to our patients for warmth and comfort and I am sorry if this was not the case for your grandma. I will ensure your comments are shared with the team.
