"Excellent care & attention"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King's Lynn)

I had my 1st baby in September & was really pleased with the way I was treated during my labour & after the birth. The midwifes were very patient and explained what was going to happen during my labour as i ended up needing an assisted delivery. They also respected my wishes about not wanting an epidural. After the birth everyone on the ward was very kind & helped me a lot with how to care for my baby & also with how to get her to breastfeed properly as i was struggling at first. This is a really friendly department with amazing staff & if I have another baby I would hope to have it at this hospital.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments of your experience of having your baby at this hospital. I am very glad that it was such a positive experience and that you received the support and care you required. I will pass on your comments to the midwifery and obstetric team. I trust you and your baby are continuing to thrive. Claire Roberts Associate Director of Patient Experience Tel: 01553 613459 or email: claire.roberts@qehkl.nhs.uk
