"Unacceptable Result Delays."

About: Furness General Hospital

Having been sent for a CT.scan on 6th Jan. On completion I was informed that I would be contacted within 2/3 weeks with the result. Having not been contacted by 9th Feb, nearly 5 wks after my appointment, I contacted E.N.T. only to be told that there was a backlog of over 6 wks & that they where still clearing Dec 2014. Surety this is unacceptable, it is to be hoped that nothing serious is found on the scan as time can be of the essence !!!!
