"Long wait to be seen in Ashford eye clinic"

This week I was one of the patients in Ashford hospital’s eye clinic.

I arrived to the clinic at round quarter to twelve. And as usual I was asked to sit down and wait. After a while i was examined by a nurse and told me to sit down again for a doctor to see me.

I waited until all the people in front of me were seen except one or two that came after me. Then most of the staff went for lunch and came back - but the hall was all already full of new patients.

So at this time i realized that something was not right and went straight to the lady on the desk, telling her that I came here before 12 and I was not seen by a doctor.

However, after almost three hours I was seen by the doctor - followed by a little 'sorry'.
