"It's a bit of a joke"

I'm currently sat waiting for the out of hours GP, we have been here for 2 hours, the wait time for A&E to was 1 and a half hours long, I feel we should've taken that route, I am here for my girlfriend who is in a lot of pain. We rang 111 and they referred us here. She is in obvious pain and discomfort, we should have been seen by now. I found out that they only have 1 GP on shift, I get that staff shortages are a problem, but it's a problem that should be fixed, right now, somebody is bound to be on call right? This hospital is pants, if I had another option I would be there.
