I left a review earlier as I had been waiting since august for a follow up appointment despite a few scans. I did take up the opportunity of speaking to the sister who was very pleasant. She also just told me to take the stone I had passed to my doctor . The doctor was most surprised that the hospital was not even interested in analysing it so as to prevent further problems. She also said that a letter had been dictated and I would receive it shortly. Guess what --- I have not received any letter nor has my doctor , I did have another ultrasound on 2nd January but still not got a letter about that either. I cannot get any travel insurance to see my brother who lives abroad and is in his late 70s . This has gone on since August . It is now February 10th . I phoned the Nuffield and can get an appointment with the same consultant not his registrar in 10 days if I pay. Being waiting 7 months on nhs . Paid into the nhs all my life but the rich get the treatment with the NHS consultant in 10 days.
