"I Was Briefly Sectioned"

I was briefly sectioned. It is an incredibly frightening experience. I cannot say I liked the ward where I was but I was treated with kindness, care and respect. In particular, two specific members of staff were exceptional. I was treated with respect and understanding. One of them made me loads of cups of coffee and we ended up talking about art, Stanley Kubrick films, everything. Yes, the wards outside this one looked and sounded scary (screams when night came on) but in my limited experience, it could have been a lot, lot worse.
