I attended QMC for a hip replacement and Nottingham City Hospital for a colonoscopy. First of all my total hip replacement at QMC was performed by Mr Tony Westbrook. Absolute first class treatment. The ward was clean, staff very helpful and friendly. Sister Cooper was in charge, she was kind, but firm and ran the ward like patients like to it run. Then my experience at City, the samples I sent back in the screening programme were abnormal resulting in a need for a colonoscopy. Everything was fine, no problems. Again all the staff and doctors gave me the best attention. The screening nurse Shelly Biddles explained everything of the procedure. Top class.
