"Words are often inadequate to express my thanks for your help"

(as a relative),

I am writing to say how much I have felt toward the support staff for my mum, the responsiveness of staff, service and support organisation to my mums fluctuating needs – particularly so that crisis episodes are anticipated and well managed. To this family, using mental health services, we have felt optimistic that care has been effective. My mums strengths, skills and talents are recognised and value. She had been treated as a person not just according to her behaviour, not just as a clinic problem.

The staff I met along the way, had been well trained to understand mental health conditions and able to help as a whole person, and not cast aside to find my own way. Words are often inadequate to express my thanks for your help. For sharing my dreams, for my mum; for your invaluable help, support and patience, I say thank you.

Success is the fruit of personal effort plus support and encouragement from people like you. Thank you giving me a shoulder when we could not support myself. A big thank you from my family for all your support.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to write this wonderful feedback.I am so very pleased to hear the staff supporting your mum were responsive to your mum's differing needs especially that crisis episodes were anticipated and well managed. The staff concerned will be so pleased to hear your feedback that your mums strengths, skills and talents were recognised and valued.

It was fantastic to hear that the staff were well trained to understand mental health conditions and able to help the whole person, Your words of praise are so encouraging to hear. And I was also really happy to hear that you received support for your self.

I would really like to pass your feedback on to the staff involved. Would you be kind enough to ring me on 01909 502025 or respond to this posting with the specific team you refer to and I will ensure the staff concerned are informed.
