"No commmunication and staff extremely rude"

About: Littlebrook Hospital

Family member went in and I had no contact from staff to explain treatment and to guide me through the process. Every time I have tried to speak to a member of staff they have been rude to me. Family member been in contact but not coherent most of the time. Has got a lot worse in the time been there and I feel very helpless and unhopeful of anything changing.

I am sorry to hear that your experience as a family member of one of our patients was not as you would have wished. KMPT is seeking to improve the way it engages carers within our care and is part of a national initiative, Triangle of Care. We have also recently agreed a carers charter which highlights our committent to working alongside carers and hold meetings for carers that you would be welcome to attend and contribute to. These are called Carers Consultative Committees and information about the latest meetings are posted on our website.
