My wife and I wish to express our deep gratitude for the tireless and exemplary care given to our dear son, Nathan Sewell, during his many extended visits as an inpatient at William Harvey hospital over several years. We have nothing but praise for all the staff attending him - from the doctors and nurses to the auxiliary personnel. He was an alcoholic who failed to overcome his addiction; and the fact that he lived longer than finally expected was due in no small measure to the care he recieved at the hospital. And perhaps the most heartwarming expression of compassion we experienced was the row of nurses who attended his funeral when we celebrated his life - not to mention the single nurse who held his hand at his bedside as he finally slipped away. Please pass on this review of ours to everyone involved in Nathan's care. It confounds the latest CQC report of your hospital.
