"Difficult to get District Nurses"

About: Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust

(as a relative),

Why is it now so very difficult to get a DN to visit?

Is it that there are not enough nurses?

A 94 year old friend needed help with dressings after a fall but was made to feel she was not entitled to a home visit.

Ensure the patient, carer or family member voice and experience is heard, acted upon and used to help services know when care and treatment works well and where it can be improved.

Thank you for your comment about District Nursing. We are sorry to learn of your friends experience. In order for us to investigate this further it would be helpful if you could contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) either by telephone 0800 088 4449 or email pals@nchc.nhs.uk with more details.

thank you

Christine Little
