"Homerton Sexual Health Services"

About: Homerton University Hospital

I would urge others to visit their GPs if possible, this walk-in clinic should be your last resort. But please don't go there if you feel at all vulnerable, this is not the place for TLC. If you have to go, go with someone, and make sure they stay with you and watch what the clinician does at all times. The nurses are not like normal nurses, not caring, bit unprofessional, and there to serve the clinicians, not make sure you are safe. My experience of Clifden centre, is that they are so used to seeing so many people, to them we are all the same. There is a general dismissive attitude towards the local residents who use it, the way you are spoken to at reception, the way clinicians communication with you and physically handle you. This is why it is not safe for vulnerable people. Just don't go if you can avoid. Good luck.
