My GP suggested I went to the mobile unit as it would be quicker than my local hospital. I can only describe it as a cattle market; you are crammed into one waiting area I had to wait for an hour and a half before being seen. Whilst the consultant introduced himself to me I was not given any paperwork and do not know his name. They did not carry out the procedure that my GP had sent me for and they said that they cannot carry out the procedure at this site and they would have to refer me to another site so I am left wondering why I was sent there.
The procedure that was carried out was extremely painful and has left me in pain since.
When leaving I was given medication to prepare me for my next visit and paperwork, the paperwork was incorrect and none of my experience fills me with any confidence whatsoever. I will never attend a mobile unit again for any invasive work and certainly I will never ever use the mobile unit again.
