"Having people cook, wash and dress me has taken some getting used to"

I called my doctor, Dr Robinson because I had been having back pain. He visited me and suggested that I have some help for a while until my back was better. I have also been referred to Rotherham for a physiotherapy appointment to have a check up. For three days I had people come in from the NHS to care for me which was then taken over by the social services care people at Claremont Services in Sheffield. They have provided me a frame and a trolley to help me support myself. I normally look after myself so having people to cook, wash and dress me has taken some getting used to. But they have been great and I am very grateful for their help. All of the staff and the local surgery have been brilliant.
