Over the last 7 months, my fiancé has had 2 day surgeries and one in patient surgery at The Circle Reading under the NHS. Due to his condition, he has attended many Pain Management, Orthopaedic and Physiotherapy appointments there. He has also been under the care of a few other NHS Hospitals over the time he has been poorly, so we really are well placed to leave a review on The Circle Reading! The first thing that hits you about The Circle Reading is the car park. OK, you may have to hunt a few minutes for a space, but it is not like other hospitals where you can incur quite some stress (and cost) in trying to park. If you’re transporting someone rather poorly, or recovering from surgery, the ease of parking and proximately to the hospital is actually quite important. When my partner was an in patient, the level of care extended to me as his partner was mind blowing. I was made welcome to stay if I wanted to do so. There were times the catering staff even asked if they could bring me food and refreshment. As my fiancé celebrated his 40th Birthday as an in patient, the chefs and catering team even kindly made him a Birthday cake. From the receptionists, medical secretaries, the cleaners, the in house catering staff to the doctors, nurses and physiotherapists, everyone has a real passion for their job and patient care, and they sure go they extra mile. We know they are busy people, but there is always a sense of calm and total attention when you speak with any of the staff there. There have been times we’ve needed an opinion between appointments, and the support from the medical secretaries and consultants has just been phenomenal. They really have made an exceptionally difficult time for my fiancé and I that much easier and have made us feel supported every step of the way. Thank you Circle Reading, keep up the good work. We are so grateful to you and your amazing staff.
"Incredible, simply incredible!"
