About: St Mary's Hospital (Newport)

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter is extremely frightened of needles and suffers from Von Willebrands disease (a bleeding disorder).

The staff were amazing, as always, and were very understanding about her fear. When it was time for my daughter to have her transfusion they went about it exactly how my daughter had asked and took all her wishes into consideration, for that I am forever grateful.

Hopefully next time my daughter has to have an injection she will remember the positive experience she had at St Mary's childrens ward.
