"Very disappointed with the service"

About: Scarborough General Hospital

I think the service here is terrible. My boyfriends been messed around for the past week taking time off work when the hospital have told him to come in for appointments waiting for hours to be told the specialist isn't in and then when he finally gets a day for his operation nobody rings him like they say they will to tell him a time, and when we ring up they tell him it's cancelled and it will probably be the next day... Nobody rings you back when they say they will which means he is taking time off work and getting worked up about an operation everyday that keeps getting cancelled. Although I understand more serious emergencies come first their should be an organised system so that people aren't waiting weeks and losing out on money from work and arranging child care for nothing
