I would just like to comment on the excellent care and treatment myself and family have received from all the staff at the McMillan centre and when I received my chemotherapy of which I have just finished at the chemotherapy unit. I have got breast cancer and things have not gone smoothly at times ie getting sepsis pneumonia infections in hickman line and being ill with the chemo but the oncology team and Macmillan nurse and the doctor have been absolutely amazing to be honest at times I've felt so ill I have felt like giving up but the staff where always there to help and support me and my family through it I don't think I would have got better care and attention anywhere else. I would also like to thank the volunteer staff who supplied you with cups of tea and biscuits and always were cheery and made you feel better I know I've still got a long way to go as have to have radiotherapy but I know I will come out the other side with the continued support of these wonderful special people.
