We were at a loss. My husbands Father had been released from hospital in Winchester were he had received wonderful treatment and they had arranged for him to have the stables removed from his head would after collapsing with the practice nurse at his own surgery today at 5.30. They could not remove staples as WE did not have tool to do it! They also would not take his blood pressure or do anything about his septic finger and made us an appointment for the following week. We rang Winchester who said they could remove staples next day which was great but husband's Father has been so poorly it was a lot to put him through. So we rang Andover who said we can remove staples come on down. My husband and his father went down and received the most amazing care from the staff on duty tonight. Not only did one member of staff remove the staples she took his blood pressure, assessed his finger and advised us what to do with it and then took the time to explained all the tablets he was taking thereby helping us to understand more fully their role in his recovery. The service and attention was exemplary. We are so thankful and cannot praise this unit enough. Thank you, you are wonderful.
