I gave birth in September to my little girl. I had gbs so when my waters broke, they called me in straight away. I was made to wait in the room for 3 hours. Then i got moved and no one attended to me for 6 hours later. I told the lady i needed to be induced straight away due to gbs infection but she refused to listen. She told my partner to go home as i wasnt going to be giving birth until the morning. I went into labour an hour after this was said so i had to call him back up again. I was pressing the buzzer for help as i was 7cm dilated but no one turned up until half an hour later. If theyd have been any slower, i wouldve gave birth on triage. My delivery went amazingly thank god. The next day we found my daughter had somethibg wrong with her blood. We had ro stay in a week but no one told me what was happening and each day someone told me i could go when i couldnt. People were telling me different things each day. My water was not changed for at least 3 days. My bed wasnt changed. I had to ask for them to change it as it was covered in blood. I had numerous anxiety attacks and asked them if i could be moved into a room on my own. They said no which caused me to panic even more. Every night i was in tears. I asked them for help with bathing the baby and other numerous things as im a first time mom. They just looked at me as if i was stupid. No one even helped me bath her in the end. The after care of this place was the worst ive ever seen. Il never be giving birth here again. Worst experience of my life.
