Labor suite maternity unit
I was with my daughter during her long Labour, she had been induced. Although this was her third child, her second Labour had been traumatic.
On arrival to the Labour suite we were met by the midwife (Pauline) who
Was in charge of her care and another midwife (Diane) who was also looking after her that day. The care they gave to my daughter that day was fantastic.
They were so attentive, professional and understanding. My daughter was being continuously monitored for the eight hours we were there and they were continuously on the go.
They gave my daughter exactly what she needed and reacted positively to her needs, anxiety, pain and were instrumental in ensuring my grandsons safe arrival even though the midwife (Pauline) stayed beyond her end of shift.
My daughter was very emotional and I feel the wonderful care they gave her will have a positive effect on my daughter's recovery and memory of the day.
"I feel the wonderful care they gave her will have a positive effect on my daughter's recovery"
