"Proud of our local hospital"

I got taken ill and was admitted to the hospital via the A&E department. All staff from the reception, triage, nurses, doctor and x-Ray/scan team were reassuring and friendly whilst still explaining properly what was happening and why. I was then admitted to Ward 2, where I stayed overnight. It was quite a scary time for me, but the doctors talked to me with honesty yet reassurance and did everything they were able to put my mind at ease. The nursing staff were friendly and respectful making sure I was comfortable. They reassured me after the doctors round even though they were extremely busy. All the other staff on the ward were equally friendly and helpful. The follow up I recieved since coming home has also been of a high standard. I could not fault anyone I came into contact with, in fact I can only praise them. Thank you.
