(as the patient),

After being admitted, I have been treated with more empathy, sympathy, and dignity than these few words can say,

Ward 14 staff across the board have been simply brilliant a credit to the NHS and a credit to themselves.

I am delighted to hear of the excellent care you have received on ward 14. I will make sure that the staff see you message and am sure it will give them a boost at a time when they are all working so very hard.
