I had elective gynaecological surgery at The Friarage just over a week ago.I cannot speak too highly of the care I received from everyone involved, and I do mean everyone; surgeon, theatre staff,nursing staff, admin and catering. There was a real team ethic in evidence.At all times I was treated with dignity, respect, kindness and sensitivity.Nothing was too much trouble. The hospital has a very friendly,welcoming atmosphere, perhaps because of its manageable size.Throughout I felt involved with my treatment and was given time and opportunity to ask questions.The explanations were always given with patience and understanding. If in future I ever need hospital treatment, I would specifically request to return there because the experience was so positive.
