"NHS24 website : Common winter illnesses - self diagnosis"

About: NHS 24

(as the patient),

Conscious of the demands on GPs time generally, and in particular winter, I looked into the above, to see if I could ' lighten the load ', conscious of that caveat, of ' a little knowledge, being a dangerous thing '. The ( very helpful ) GP who I subsequently met, seemed glad that I was aware of such!

I was surprised that ' If in any doubt contact your GP ' cautionary notes, weren't more explicitly emphasised on the form, and I felt some of the questions could have been more sharply focused.

I don't think I'm ' a naturally complaining type ', and hope these observations are received in the ' lightening your load ' vane, in which they are sent.
