"Treatment isn't long enough"

About: Inclusion Matters Sefton

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

The person who saw me was great but with my problems they were brought out but there was no time to put all the nasty things back in to place. The time each therapist has is a joke - 8 weeks?

Dear 'D2015',

Thank you for leaving your feedback with us and raising this important point.

Unfortunately we are only able to offer short-term counselling which is a maximum of 8 sessions. I understand that this may not feel long enough in some cases.

You may wish to consider re-referring into our service for further sessions by telephoning our office, consulting with your GP, or completing the self-referral form available at www.inclusion-matters-sefton.org.uk.

Alternatively if you would like longer term treatment you may find it useful to visit www.bacp.co.uk.

Best wishes for the future,

Lizzie
