Today I had my second physio therapy session at the hospital and like my previous visit I made sure I had 30 minutes to park as your letter recommends leaving plenty of time for parking. I ended up driving round in circles for 25 minutes before I finally managed to get a place. I am a new driver and very nervous when having to park. Not only is the amount of parking completely inadequate, there is also nowhere to really turn around as all ends of the car park lead to dead ends. I ended up having to rush into the hospital, as best I could, to make my appointment, which is not easy as I am suffering from PGP and am heavily pregnant. This is just not acceptable. People had parked on double lines and I am sure that there were many people parked in disabled bays and mother and child bays without requiring them. I would not have parked in these. My physio session went well as the lady is very helpful and nice, but there aren't even proper rooms. There are just curtains dividing the different "cubicles" which means everyone can hear everyone's business. I am due to give birth in the birth centre and cannot imagine what parking will be like then... I have read from other reviews that parking has been approved but in the meantime you need to sort out alternative parking in the surrounding area.

Dear Ms Lopatko Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on your visit to physiotherapy at Wexham Park Hospital. I am sorry that you had difficulty with the car parking; we certainly recognise the congestion caused due to the high demand on parking spaces and the restricted flow through our car parks. In the last 15 months we have added 120 additional spaces for visitor parking onto the Wexham site and we are continuing to explore further options to try and resolve the parking issues in its entirety. We hope during 2015 to add a further 500+ spaces around the hospital site and introduce a new road layout that will improve the flow of vehicles visiting the hospital. I am pleased to read that the physiotherapist you saw was very helpful and nice. The physiotherapy outpatient department has curtained cubicles to allow treatment to take place. This is in line with many other trusts throughout the NHS. At present I am not aware of any plans to change the outpatient department into single private rooms for consultations to take place. The deputy physiotherapy manager has informed me that the team are sensitive to this issue and are able to use the one private room if it is not already in use.
