I recently had my first lot of treatment at this hospital and my first impression was excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming, made you feel at ease and clearly explained what was going to happen. A polite trainee requested to insert the cannula into my hand only if I was happy for him to do so. Although he was very nervous but still did an excellent job and couldn't thank me enough. I cannot comment on the procedure as I was lucky enough to be given a sedative that allowed me to forget the whole event. I do know that directly afterwards great care was taken to ensure I was comfortable and well enough to go home as I suffer with low blood pressure and a tendency to faint. Cup of tea and a biscuit plus rest then I was explained all the do and dont's about going home. Cannot fault the care and the whole feel of the hospital.
