About: South Tyneside District Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was in for a knee operation last week, when all the news was bad on the telly etc. I was admitted with very little delay and my operation went ahead, it just meant I had to stay in the recovery room for a little bit longer (rather than going to a ward bed) I must admit the staff, before and after my operation were excellent, well done to all the staff in the recover ward.
