"EPRC op :-( but excellent service all round from..."

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford)

I had several weekly scans in the CFWH (Clinic 2). Each appointment showed how extremely busy the clinics are - so many other women there. Sadly, mine culminated in a necessary EPRC (my choice). I was asked when I would like the op to happen and opted for the next day. The staff did all the possible pre-op assessments that day and I returned the following morning at 7am. All staff communicated kindly and treated me with the upmost respect. The nurses on the ward were exceptional in their gentle manner and attitude. I was relieved to have the procedure done prior to Xmas - giving me the time to enjoy the festive period with my family. I have since found out that the pregnancy was a Partial a Molar one and RD&E have quickly referred me to Charing Cross for specialist monitoring. Thank you to all the staff for your care and diligence.
