"Kind and caring at A&E"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

In early January I had cause to take my wife to A&E following a fall in the garden.

We booked in at 1045 (approx) and we were discharged at 1500hrs. My wife who had cracked her ankle, which subsequently needed plastering was looked after in a very professional manner throughout the stay. Everyone was very kind in their manner to her which was a great comfort to both of us.

Although people are very critical of services offered, wanting instantaneous solutions, from our observations 90% should not be there but at their local GP.

Thank you for your care and attention, we are both in our seventies and were treated with dignity.

Thank you so much for your kind feedback, staff will really appreciate your comments. We are glad we were there to help you both at a potentially stressful time. I do hope your wife is recovering well from her fall.
