I've had both my children at Forth Valley and I cannot fault the care I received during both my pregnancies or when in labour. All the midwifes were fantastic and made me feel at ease. I had a difficult second pregnancy and was in and out of hospital due to reduced movement and funny turns.
The staff never made me feel like I wasn't important and although they are run off their feet, were attentive and a credit to the NHS.
I also have to give particular recognition to the midwifes that delivered my 2 children. In July 2012 when I had my daughter, Jennifer and Carianne were amazing and I felt so at ease the whole time in the labour ward. Then just 2 months ago in November I had my son. This was after a lengthy induction and Julie who was my midwife was truly amazing. Although not long qualified I never felt nervous and trused her fully. All the staff in antenatal as well. I can't thank them enough for being so kind and professional.
I just wish hubby would let me have another baby so I could receive the excellent care again.
